WhatsApp users will be able to send BTC and LTC using a special bot

The company Zulu Republic announced the launch of a new bot in the popular WhatsApp messenger, through which users can send and receive BTC and LTC.

The bot in the messenger works with the Lite.IM cryptocurrency platform and allows you to receive and send cryptocurrency, view transactions in the wallet, make settings and export the wallet.

Representatives of the company also said that users could even earn coins through participation in the referral program. Considering that the audience of the WhatsApp messenger exceeds 1.5 billion people, sending cryptocurrencies will become much easier for a large number of people. In addition, access to this feature will get users not covered by banking services.

Note that the largest social network Facebook, which owns the messenger, is preparing to create its own stablecoin, which is also planned to be used to send funds to WhatsApp. Thus, the Lite.im platform will compete with the upcoming token.

Recently it became known that Facebook has registered a new FINTECH company Libra Networks in Switzerland. Most likely, it is this company that will be engaged in the development of a stablecoin for a social network.
