Telegram introduced the first edition of the rules for using the "Gram" cryptocurrency wallet, which was developed by the company to store the tokens of the same name.
The rules say that the Gram wallet is provided by Telegram FZ-LLC and will be built into the Telegram messenger, and is also available as a separate application. One of the main points in the rules is the age limit - only people over 18 years old can use the wallet. In addition, only citizens of countries in which it is not prohibited by law can use the Gram.
Although the authors reserve the sole right to change the rules, it is already known that Telegram will not store any passphrases, passwords, or any other user identification information. All responsibility for the storage of information about access to the wallet rests with the user and, in the event of the loss of this data, Telegram will not be able to help restore it.
It is also noted in the rules that all Gram transactions must be verified and recorded on the TON blockchain. Telegram has no control over the blockchain, so it will not be able to change or cancel transactions. At the same time, developers recognize the likelihood that transactions may not be completed at all, or completed with delays.
