ICO CD Currency

CD Currency - a bank-supported cryptocurrency (offered by Universal Coin International Inc.), that addresses the most important issue confronting the cryptocurrency industry today: lack of banking products and services. We will be one or the first licensed multi-service North American bank providing custodial products and services to the crypto-ecosystem. As cryptocurrency has grown, its users and holders cannot yet deposit it in a licensed bank, nor borrow against it, nor easily convert it to fiat. 

There are no crypto savings accounts, mortgages, debit/credit cards, etc. for crypto-currencies backed by federally-licensed banks (at least not in the USA).  CD Coin is designed to be used and will be backed by bank’s products and services by UCI’s banking affiliate, CD Bank.  The bank will be an international, fully licensed and digital-based crypto bank that will be targeted for locations such as Puerto Rico, or other regions providing tax incentives, which will provide much-needed banking custodial products and services to its crypto customers around the world. In effect, this will be North America’s first licensed bank that can hold deposits and offer banking products in BOTH fiat and cryptocurrencies. What CD Bank provides is the first opportunity for the market making of for the CD Coin cryptocurrency through liquidity of the bank’s underlying reserves.   

While the CD Bank’s offerings will be available to all holders of cryptocurrencies, the holders of CD coins will enjoy preferential rates and custom promotions from the bank in services and products such as custody, checking/savings accounts, credit products, and FX conversion.  The goal of Universal Coin International Inc. is to develop a solid and liquid currency on a global scale that is wholly supported by our international, digital-based cryptocurrency bank with biometric state-of-the-art security measures to provide custodial products and services and to provide financial inclusion and literacy for millions of individuals. UCI and CD will also fund a non-profit foundation to increase financial inclusion and banking literacy for millions of forgotten, unbanked individuals around the world.
